Hui-Ling Yen, The University of Hong Kong, China

Dr. Hui-Ling Yen is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Centre for Influenza Research, School of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on identification of molecular determinants that confer influenza interspecies transmission, elucidating the virus host interaction and its effect on viral pathogenicity, and antiviral resistance. She received her Ph.D. in Epidemiological Science in 2005 from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor followed by her postdoctoral training from 2005-2008 in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Webster at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
